The Emen finished out spring break at Terminus, a competitive tournament in Atlanta, Georgia. Seeded #1 overall, Tufts hoped to continue to roll after winning Southerns the previous weekend. To start the day the Emen matched up against the 5 seed Kennesaw State. Tufts started slow, giving up a break early, but came out of half on fire and took the game 13-5. The next game pitted the Emen against long time rival Middlebury. Again the Emen started slow and went down 7-3 at half. However, in the second half Tufts fought back, winning a break here and a break there. As the game wound down a few Emen stepped up big. Kewl Treev got a sweet layout D on the goal line then turned it into bookends. Lloyd got a couple huge D‰Ûªs as well. When it came down to it, the Emen had broken all the way back to 13-13 in a game that was hard capped at 15. With their foot on the gas, the Emen took control and punched it in twice to take a huge 15-13 win. After a bye, Tufts faced Alabama in the 3rd game of the day. In what had become a frustrating trend the Emen started slow yet again. After taking half on serve Tufts started playing up to their potential and rolled to a 13-8 victory. In the last game of the day the Emen faced the 2 seed in the pool, Washington University (not to be confused with the University of Washington). The teams were well matched, but Tufts wore down their understaffed opponents and broke twice to take half 7-5. Lightening struck and play was cancelled for the day. Sadly day two of the tournament was cancelled due to conditions and the Emen headed home after a pretty successful Spring Break.
